Our client is seeking an experienced and professional candidate to join them on a three month contract.  The key purpose of the role is to manage the day to day activities of the various service providers for this large company and be the main point of contact between the customer and the suppliers,  (to include the cleaning contractors and waste / recycling providers)

 

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience of working within an MoD environment and be a confident and articulate communicator.  Previous experience of working with service providers is also required, as is a thorough understanding of all MS Office applications, and an ability to adapt to new working environments with ease.

Area Sales Manager – North East London - £24.5k Basic+Uncapped Commission+Car+Blackberry+Laptop.

This is a great opportunity to join an innovative, expanding organisation at the top of their game. As such they are now seeking an experienced sales professional to join them as an Area Sales Manager.

Working closely with the Head of Sales & Marketing you will be responsible for the management of existing accounts and for identifying and targeting new business opportunities.

It is essential that you have experience in field sales and account management within the service or retail sector, and are a confident communicator with a proven track record in the ability to give presentations and closing a deal.  The role also requires you to audit and manage the existing accounts effectively and to ensure that high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained at all times.

The role will require you to be field based approximately 4 days a week, and working from home the rest of the time – due to the location of the territory it is desirable that you live inside the M25 but you must also be prepared to travel to the Hampshire office on occasion.

Account Manager – Andover/Basingstoke - £17-20k + uncapped commission - Permanent

My client is highly regarded and established as one of Europe’s leading technology distributors serving the UK IT industry.  Their aim is to be the leading UK IT Distributor. 

As a result of continued growth they have expanded their southern sales operation in to Basingstoke.  An exciting opportunity now waits for an experienced sales person to join this forward thinking company.

When you join the company you will be allocated with your own ‘pool’ of customers from which you will be expected to prospect and establish a customer base.  If the successful applicant is capable of bringing business to the company, this will be preferred but not essential. 

Once you’re established, one of your key responsibilities will be to build close relationships with your account set and establish the company as the IT supplier of choice.  Within the southern sales team, your customers may range from small businesses to national retailers.  You will effectively be managing your own business which you will develop and grow by better understand your customers needs and matching those to our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage & develop your own set of accounts from new businesses to established customers
  • Work to daily, weekly and monthly targets, supported by your sales manager
  • Take part in daily, weekly team meetings, sharing best practise and information on customers/trends/products
  • Liaise within the business to ensure customer queries are dealt with fast and efficiently
  • Effective profiling of your account set using CRM to better understand your business
  • Promote and sell an effective product mix to enhance your margin
  • Analysing your business on a daily basis to identify growth areas
  • Review customer pricing on an ongoing basis
  • Provide weekly forecast on run-rate and deal based business to your line manager

The role will initially be based in the Andover office however the company will be relocating to Basingstoke in July so applicants must be happy to work in both locations.

In return the company offers a competitive basic salary of up to £20k and uncapped commission.
